The work responds to Eyal’s manifesto on the importance of intuition in the creative process, using small glass vials filled with concrete, sand, or water. These vials—leftover byproducts from laboratory research on cementitious materials—serve as weights for producing lace using the bobbin-lace method. While the broader research focuses on textile-reinforced concrete, here the process is reversed: the weight of the vials generates the fabric. The interaction between the two material systems—the vials and the new lace thread—and the physical tension between them give rise to the emerging textile. The object echoes the group’s mobile concept, exploring weight and balance as formative forces.
