The object responds to Tal’s manifesto, which calls for sanctifying nature and turning it into a religion as a way to preserve it. It is made of felted wool fibers, LED lighting, branches, and embroidery. The embroidered text is taken from Henry David Thoreau’s Walking, in which he wishes to speak “in praise of Nature,” countering a culture that “has plenty of advocates.”
