An artist, researcher, and senior faculty member at the Faculty of Design at Shenkar. Kenaan holds a BFA from Cooper Union School of Art, studied environmental studies at Tel Aviv University, and earned a Master’s degree with honors in Policy and Theory of the Arts from Bezalel Academy.
In 2017, Rakefet founded the ‘Material flow collective’ aiming to create a collaborative social work model that proposes an alternative environmental-cultural approach. She creates and curates exhibitions, promotes social and collaborative projects, and her work is presented in various conferences, galleries, and museums
